My Story

I began practicing yoga when I was pregnant with my second child. After he was born I suffered from postpartum depression and anxiety. My doctor suggested I get back into yoga to help. It was then that I truly fell in love with the practice and made it a part of my daily life.

Eventually, I took the plunge and signed up for yoga teacher training. My initial intentions were to deepen my practice and expand my knowledge. Little did I know I would enjoy teaching so much!

After I received my 200 hour certification, I went on to obtain my Group Fitness Certification through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). This allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of how the body can benefit from movement and incorporate that in my yoga classes.

I took a deeper dive into my training and obtained additional certifications in Yoga for Athletes, Chair Yoga and also became a Reiki Master. In April 2023 I obtained my 500 hour Yoga Certification.

My Vision

Movement benefits the mind and spirit as much as the body. Being active has so many benefits! The key is to find what you love. If you don't enjoy the activity you're doing you'll never be able to make it a regular part of your life.

As a teacher, I want to give you options. Yoga should be fun and accessible for everybody and every BODY! This is why I offer a wide range of classes from relaxing Restorative Yoga to heart-pounding Power Yoga... and a little bit of everything in between.

I truly believe that variety is the spice of life. I tend to get bored easily, so I love to have a variety of offerings to keep you engaged and motivated! My goal is to give you a unique experience each and every time you join me on the mat. I want you to feel energized, uplifted and empowered!
